This Land, Our Future

Free

Minnesota residents are experiencing warmer and wetter conditions with more extreme weather events which significantly impact our ecosystem, agriculture, wildlife, and water sources. These environmental shifts impact those who live and rely on this land.

Join us for this virtual event as we host five Marshall County residents who will share their connection to this place and how they are working toward a sustainable future for all Minnesotans. Through listening and reflecting, you will learn how Northwest Minnesotans are responding to a changing climate, how climate solutions can build strong rural communities, and how you can get involved. After the main event, connect with your neighbors to share thoughts, ideas, and stories.

The event is a program of the Minnesota Humanities Center, in partnership with the Northwest Regional Sustainable Development Partnership and the State of Minnesota.
