2019 Statewide Community Input Tour with MHC’s new CEO

The Minnesota Humanities Center (MHC) is embarking on a Statewide Community Input Tour and we would love to see you there!

The tour is a series of community conversations with MHC’s new CEO – Kevin Lindsey. All are welcome to attend – friends as well as those who have not yet become friends are encouraged to come. This is an exciting time for MHC and your involvement in our work is valuable to us.

At each session, Kevin will preview MHC’s strategic plan, talk about our latest grant opportunities, and — most importantly — gather feedback from you about how we can create a more connected and curious Minnesota through the humanities. Whether you are a student or educator, business leader or artist, historian or media maker, young or old – your ideas matter to us.

This is a unique chance to let your voice be heard and to hear directly from Kevin about MHC’s future direction.

Community Input Sessions

We know that humanities programming positively impacts the lives of Minnesotans. We are interested in hearing from you about the humanities work that is occurring in your community, the humanities work that you would like to see in your community, and how MHC can support existing or new humanities work in your community.

Higher Education Faculty Input Sessions

MHC is inviting local humanities faculty to a special session with Kevin. We want to hear from you as to how MHC can enhance working with higher education to improve the classroom experience, enhance scholarship and research, and amplify humanities awareness statewide.
