DESCRIPTION:For generations\, Minnesotans have shaped our state through remarkable people\, unforgettable places\, treasured traditions\, groundbreaking ideas\, and everyday objects that tell extraordinary stories. \nThis October\, Minnesota Humanities Center invites communities from every corner of the state to help build a shared collection of 100 people\, places\, traditions\, ideas\, and objects that represent us—one that reflects the richness\, diversity\, and spirit of Minnesota and will inspire future generations. Nominations are open now — share the story that matters most to you. \nTHE 100 WILL BE DRAWN FROM FIVE CATEGORIES \n\n\n\nPeople \n\n\n\n\n\nPlaces \n\n\n\n\n\nTraditions \n\n\n\n\n\nIdeas \n\n\n\n\n\nObjects \n\n\n\n\n\n \n\nThe first 25 are revealed that night.
