50th Anniversary Celebration

May 12 @ 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm CDT

Minnesota Humanities Center is turning 50!

Join us to celebrate with the region’s most influential humanities change-makers, scholars, and community members, along with nonprofit and business leaders in a COVID friendly environment.

This immersive evening will have you venturing through the past, participating in the present, and envisioning the future as we celebrate one of the country’s first humanities councils. From poetry to a makers’ studio, celebrate imagination, inquiry, and ideas all while enjoying delicious eats and signature cocktails.

Join us for an entertaining evening with T. Mychael Rambo as our emcee and Thomasina Petrus and the King’s Quartet as our musical guest!

Please choose the appropriate ticket level of support. Each ticket includes access to the immersive event, networking, swag bag, heavy hors d’oeuvres, and a drink ticket.

  • $50 Curious: learn about us and our work
  • $75 Connected: increase understanding and enjoy a complimentary book to spark change
  • $125 Compassionate: take part in our vision to create a just society and join us for a complimentary future event
