Volunteer Sign-Up

Thank you for your interest in volunteering at the 50th Anniversary Joint Commemoration events. To be successful, programs like these require support and time from people like you and we are so grateful!

These events will recognize the importance of the culinary, artistic, educational, and cultural contributions of the communities who have made an indelible mark on the fabric of Minnesota since the end of the Vietnam War, Southeast Asian conflicts, and Secret War.

Please complete this sign-up document by Friday, October 31 so we can send you all the information you will need for your volunteer shift(s). Thanks again for offering to be a part of these historic events.

Be a part of the journey our guests will take when they join us to remember, reflect, learn, and engage with the histories of their military experience or the personal histories that make up our Minnesota story. Volunteers from the Cambodian, Hmong, Lao, Vietnamese, and Minnesota Vietnam Veteran communities – as well as from the general public – will be needed for all event dates, both weekends, and at each location.

Event set-up and welcome 9:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. Help greet guests, direct them to food trucks, seating area, and immersive space

Welcome and tear down 1:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Help greet guests, direct them to food trucks, seating area, and immersive space, also help MHC team pack up any resources and displays
