50th Anniversary Joint Commemoration
Volunteers, Food Trucks, Vendors, and Performers Needed
The Minnesota Humanities Center invites volunteers, vendors, and performers from Cambodian, Hmong, Lao, Vietnamese, and Minnesota Vietnam Veteran communities to take part in the 50th Anniversary Joint Commemoration. This historic commemorative program will honor sacrifice and survival, celebrate resilience and cultural expression, and lift up intergenerational storytelling that bridges past and present.

Volunteer Opportunities
Be a part of the journey our guests will take when they join us to remember, reflect, learn, and engage with the histories of their military experience or the personal histories that make up our Minnesota story. Volunteers from the Cambodian, Hmong, Lao, Vietnamese, and Minnesota Vietnam Veteran communities will be needed for all event dates, both weekends, and at each location.

Food Truck Opportunities
Guests arriving at Royalston Square will be welcomed by the logos and delicious aromas of several carefully selected food trucks on Saturday, October 25. Tables will be available indoors for guests to enjoy their treats before or after touring the immersive experience. This event will have food trucks only, no indoor food concessions will be available.

We invite vendors from the Cambodian, Hmong, Lao, Vietnamese, and Minnesota Vietnam Veteran communities to share foods, beverages, crafts, and other meaningful items during the commemorative weekend. This event will have indoor concessions only, no food truck parking.
