Join us for the Youth Poet Laureate livestream, featuring current Youth Poet Laureates Chloe Chou (West/California), Malaya Ulan (Northeast/Philadelphia), Rishi Janakiraman (South/North Carolina), and Daniel Somotochukwu Umemezie (Midwest/Cedar Valley, IA).

The Minnesota Youth Poet Laureate will be announced, and you can watch with us as we celebrate this powerful moment for young voices across the country.

The National Youth Poet Laureate Commencement is presented this year by Urban Word and the Nebraska Writers Collective on Saturday, April 25 at 7pm CST (8pm EST). Tune in for an inspiring evening of poetry, culminating in the announcement of the 10th National Youth Poet Laureate, along with State Youth Poet Laureate winners from across the nation.
