St. Paul – Story Circle: DCYF Fatherhood Series
October 3 @ 11:00 am - 1:00 pm CDT
Free
Through personal stories, fathers will listen, share, and reflect upon the impact of generational and current patterns of influence. Each story circle session will examine issues that surface by the participants themselves as needing to be addressed in collaboration with the Department of Children, Youth, and Family services (DCYF) for taking beneficial action steps for moving forward. Each session will be facilitated by Rose McGee, MHC Story Circle Practitioner along with Emmanuel Donaby, DCYF Fatherhood Project Coordinator.
The Department of Children, Youth, and Family services (DCYF) in partnership with the Minnesota Humanities Center (MHC) is hosting a three-part Story Circle Fatherhood series. This special project is designed to build a leadership task force comprised of fathers who will gain a deeper understanding of accessible systems and resources, but to also develop a stronger sense of their own empowerment.
