Thousands of Nisei men and women (second generation Japanese Americans) were trained as linguists and translators and played a crucial role in helping the U.S. to end the war. Join the Minnesota Humanities Center on Saturday, November 5 at 10:30 a.m. for a storytelling circle centered around "Objects of War." Participants are invited to bring their own object to share that helps them tell the story of their own connection to war, whether direct or indirect.
