About the Events

Minnesota Writers Off the Page events are held at venues across the state. In addition to reading from their books, authors are joined in conversation by fellow authors and community members to share more about their craft, subject matter, and how their personal stories and lived experiences inspire their writing.

These gatherings offer audiences an opportunity for people to hear books read out loud by the authors, listen to conversations between authors, poets, and artists who moderate the events, and to engage in Q&A discussions. Books are available for purchase, often signed in real time for our eager fans of literature, human interest, and Minnesota’s talented writing community.
