Park Rapids – Nature Journaling
August 1 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am CDT
Free
Nature journaling is a meditative practice that sharpens observation of the natural world through drawing and writing. On the shores of Lake Itasca, we’ll explore life on land and in the lake – and the connections between them. Whether you’re new or experienced, join us to practice in this inspiring setting. This event is led by Dr. Jennifer Powers, Itasca Drawn to Nature instructor and Professor of Plant and Microbial Biology at the University of Minnesota. Note: a limited supply of journaling notebooks and colored pencils will be provided. Feel free to bring your own supplies too!
Host Partner: MN DNR Itasca State Park and U of M Itasca Biological Station
