St. Cloud – Headscarf Story Circle Gathering

The Minnesota Humanities Center (MHC) is excited to host Headscarf Story Circle – a series of offerings that recognize the strength and resiliency of women. Join us as we gather together in St. Cloud, Minnesota through the shared connection of the headscarf and its complexity. This event’s theme is a tribute to preserving the art of cultural dance and movement.
Guests are encouraged to wear a headscarf or head dress that is symbolic of anything from a fashion statement, cultural identity, health related, memories, and beliefs. The community event host is Hodan Omar, Executive Director of Hooyo Hour in collaboration with Fe y Justicia. The host site is Nelson Mandela Hall in St. Cloud.
