Join us for this public seminar to hear from Dr. Jake Walsh, Assistant Professor in Fisheries Wildlife and Conservation Biology at the University of Minnesota, who will share about his research partnerships with State, local, and Tribal governments and local citizen groups to better understand and manage our valuable lakes.
As we reach the height of summer in Minnesota, We Are Water MN travels north to a deeply significant site for water in our state: the headwaters of the mighty Mississippi River! The water found at Lake Itasca begins here and flows on its winding way 2552 miles to the Gulf of Mexico.
