K-12 Educators will receive 2.5 clock hours. The Teaching Bdote Educator Workshop is designed for educators who have attended Learning from Place: Bdote and are preparing to incorporate the experience into their classroom or lead their own classroom field trip.

Participants will explore strategies for helping teachers move beyond surface-level source activities, and primary source work that confirms pre-taught narratives towards using sources as evidence, perspective, and tools for reasoning. Emphasis will be placed on improving opportunities for student analysis and argumentation.
